Nieman Lab Predictions for Journalism 2019
I wrote a piece for Nieman Lab’s annual call for predictions about the future of journalism.
I argue that it is time to make ‘news nerds’ a more inclusive term that includes artists, ethnographers, librarians, fashion designers and others from diverse disciplines, and for journalism to look beyond software development circles for insights, lessons, and opportunities to collaborate.
